Sobhita described fashion as a canvas where individuals can express various shades of their persona. To her, fashion is not only a means of self-expression but also a way to explore one’s roots and heritage, creating a connection with the past.

Ishaan, who last appeared in the film “Phone Bhoot,” shares Sobhita’s sentiment about fashion being a form of self-expression.He views it as a reflection of the current zeitgeist while also having a cyclical nature, capturing different moments in time.

During the event, Sobhita and Ishaan showcased RGRK’s latest collection, “Equinox,” inspired by the celestial geometry of autumn equinox.Sobhita donned a striking silver two-piece outfit, a modern interpretation of the lehenga, while Ishaan wore a deep blue blazer and trousers paired with a matching necktie.

The collection, titled “Equinox,” artfully blended faith and fable with architectural elements and craft. It featured gowns, luxury tuxedos, and contemporary Indian formals, representing a bold and characterful modern India.

The designers used rich, unlined fabrics and mesmerizing 3D embroidery techniques in a color palette that ranged from blue and white to garnet, red, and lavender.

Asked about their choices for the most fashionable feature ever made in India, Ishaan opted for the timeless cinema classic “Mughal-e-Azam,” while Sobhita chose Yash Chopra’s iconic film “Silsila.”

The India Couture Week, organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), will run until August 2, showcasing the finest creations of prominent designers in the industry.

On the film front, Ishaan is gearing up for the release of the war drama “Pippa,” while Sobhita will be seen in the second season of the Prime Video series “Made In Heaven.”

Overall, the duo’s appearance at the couture event added an air of elegance and sophistication, celebrating fashion’s artistic expression and its deep connection with Indian culture and heritage.
