Amid all this, the actor turned politician and Jana sena chief Pawan Kalyan made a crucial Delhi visit. His Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar accompanied him.

The Janasena leaders met BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi and it is being said that the Janasena leaders returned without achieving anything concrete. There was no assurance or even guidance about the 2024 elections or about the strategy to be adopted in the 2024 elections.

During the meeting Pawan Kalyan had reportedly told Nadda that, there is no other option for the party than to join hands with the TDP in the upcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. He made it clear that the only way to pull down the YSR Congress party from power is to have an alliance with the TDP.

The Jana Sena Party chief reportedly told Nadda and others that, in the given circumstances, the TDP has been gaining strength across the state, and the Jana Sena Party has also gained a lot of support in several pockets.

“On the other hand, the BJP’s graph has been going down because of its soft approach towards the YSRCP.

The only way the BJP can regain some hold in the state is to put up a joint fight against the YSRCP government, along with the TDP and Jana Sena,” Pawan reportedly told the BJP leadership.

But the BJP central leadership seems to be in different plans.

The saffron party aim appears to be to reduce the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) to irrelevance so that it can emerge as an alternative in the state at least by 2029.For this to happen, the TDP must be defeated in the 2024 elections.

Hence, the BJP is trying to convince Pawan Kalyan not to enter into any electoral understanding with the TDP.

Pawan Kalyan could not meet any key BJP leader. He did not have any appointment with either Modi or Amit Shah.Besides meeting Amit Shah, the Jana sena chief met Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Shekhawat and AP affairs incharge Muralidharan.

Muralidharan is said to have cautioned Pawan Kalyan against falling into the TDP trap.He is said to have asked him to focus on party building in Andhra Pradesh.

Beyond that Pawan Kalyan did not get any guarantee from the BJP whatsoever.By going all this, Pawan Kalyan had got nothing in substance with this meeting.
