Cambodian Parliament President departs to Vietnam, Laos

Phnom Penh, Sep 12 : Cambodias National Assembly President Heng Samrin on Monday set off on a trip to neighboring nations of Vietnam as well as Laos according to a statement issued by the government.

The most powerful Cambodian legislator will be in Laos from Wednesday through Friday, when he will make respects to President Thongloun Sisoulith as well as Premier Phankham Viphavanh.He will also have meetings with with other high-ranking Lao legislators "The visits will help increase and strengthen cooperation and friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam and with Cambodia and Laos," said Leng Peng Long secretary general of Cambodias National Assembly.
