Mumbai 5th September : Musician and singer Nilotpal Bora is on cloud nine as his track ‘Shabaash’, from the film ‘Jaadugar’ has been made the official song for the Commonwealth Games 2022 and also he had the opportunity to collaborate with the popular YouTuber and comedian Bhuvan Bam on his upcoming web series “Taaza Khabar’.Sharing his experiences of working with Bhuvan, he said: “‘It is my first collaboration with Bhuvan.I’m not able to reveal much about the track as of this moment, but I can say two things: the song is totally different to the genre and style of genre of songs I’ve been singing up to this point, and the second aspect is that one of the most popular singers in our country performers will sing the song.”
Bora is known for his numerous compositions.He has also received lots of praise for his compositions in “Yeh Meri Family” and ‘Tripling 2’ among other.However, he believes that his composition being chosen to be included in CWG 2022 is one of the most significant accomplishments of his life.
he is pleased that his talents are receiving the recognition they deserve.
“Firstly it is the fact that they recognized the potential in my song to elevate it to the next level of an anthem to inspire our Indian athletes who are the jewel of our nation, and making us all feel proud at the world stage is an incredible feeling for me, since I am confident that I can to contribute something to the country,” he said.
Nilotpal said: “Secondly it was a huge surprise to me.My uncle who is in Panipat is a fan of sports and he was the first to let me know about the event after watching it on television live.At that point, I was waiting for the official confirmation phone.I’m not able to quantify or express the joy in words.I consider this to be the most significant accomplishment in my career to date.”
He further reflects on his journey as musician and how, from Assam he relocated to Mumbai and slowly he gained fame and recognition.
“I relocated to Mumbai in 2013.From 2013 until 2017 , I was an music producer in Mumbai.Then I recorded my second Assamese album , ‘Pancham’, wherein I recorded a song titled “Majuli”.After hearing the regional independent song “Majuli,” I received an invitation to perform in the show ‘Ye Meri Family directed by Sameer Saxena.”
“Sameer sir was telling me that my voice is unique and that my voice is unique and he would like a song that is that is exactly like my music.So I came up with my first song , ‘Dhaaga as a composer.afterward, the show was released on Netflix and, after Dhaaga I began receiving lots of projects from TVF like “Tripling season 2, “Aspirants,” ‘Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt.Ltd”,” he concluded.
