San Francisco, Sep 5 : San Francisco, September 5, : Apple Watch Series 3 models which are currently sold out across the world through the tech giant’s online store is likely to be discontinued in the near future.Three of the four Series 3 configurations listed on Apple’s website are out of inventory in the UK and Australia For instance and one Series 3 model is unavailable in the US store, as reported by MacRumors.
The coming watchOS 9.0 software update is not compatible with the Apple Watch Series 3, and it is anticipated that Apple will cease selling the device following the launch of new Apple Watch models at the special event on Wednesday.
The new models that are expected to be revealed at the event will include the Apple Watch Series 8, an upgraded Series 8 model that may be dubbed the Apple Watch Pro, and the Second-generation Apple Watch SE.
The initial Apple Watch SE would likely replace the Series 3 as the new most affordable model.
Introduced in 2017 in The Apple Watch Series 3 is old and in its final time as watchOS 9 is set to release for the Series 4 and newer later this month.
The company is set to unveil four brand new iPhone 14 models at its “Far Out” event on Wednesday.
