Lucknow 2 September : The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has served notices to 73 officers over their inability in settling people’s grievances.The notices were issued on base of confidential reports submitted to the office of the chief minister by local police, local administration and other agencies, as well as the feedback received via the Jan Sunwai Portal and the CM Helpline.
The recipients of notices comprise 10 heads of departments five commissioners and 10 district magistrates.five vice-presidents of the development authority five municipal commissioners, and 10 Tehsildars.
Along with these explanations are also demanded from three ADGs as well as IGs five IGs and DIGs 10, commissionerates, SSP/SPs aswell in 10 police stations.
The most ineffective departments in terms of responding to the public’s complaints and concerns have been identified as: employees, Ayush, technical education agriculture marketing industrial and infrastructure development housing and urban planning vocational education, Namami Gange and water supply to rural areas and environment, forests and climate change.
A spokesperson for the government stated: “The chief minister has issued show cause notices to seventy-three employees of the state, requesting clarification from them regarding allegations of infraction of duties.These notices were made on basis of an assessment of the month of July.
He has had numerous sessions with all departments as well as the police department and has made it clear at all times that recklessness is not allowed at any point.Public grievances need to be addressed as soon as possible and with the approval of everyone concerned.In the midst of so many warnings, complaints were being made against departments and officials The chief minister took a more strict view of the matter.”
