Lucknow 1st, September : In an important administrative reshuffle Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has moved 16 top IAS officers.The most significant change is the one of Navneet Sehgal who was disposed of the Khadi, information and MSME portfolios.He has been appointed as an the additional chief secretary for sports.
Sehgal’s departure comes one day after another chief secretary at home Avanish Awasthi , resigned from his post.
The crucial information portfolio has been given to Sanjay Prasad, who is also in the responsibility of the home department.
Additional chief secretary health Amit Mohan Prasad was transferred in this capacity in the industry department and the industries department, while Parthsarthy Sen Sharma, who has returned from Central deputation, assumes the role as the principal secretary for health and medical.
Mahesh Gupta, until currently posted in Raj Bhavan as the additional chief secretary for Governor was transferred in the same position to the power department.
Kalpana Awasthi has been appointed the secretary principal to Governor.
Aradhana Shukla, chief secretary in the department of secondary education has been transferred into the Ayush department.
