Chennai 31 August : Santhanam, actor’s new film directed by famous Kannada director Prasanthraj is called ‘Kick’, the film’s makers revealed on Wednesday.
On Twitter actor Santhanam tweeted the First Look poster of the film, tweeted: “Happy Vinayakar Chathurthi everyone.Here’s the first look of my next #SANTA15 project, called “Kick”.”
The film, the production of started in Bangalore just a few months back, was shot in full flow in Chennai.The last schedule, which was held in Bangkok for 15 days, was completed just recently.
Produced by Naveen Raj under his banner Fortune Films, the film will be the debut as a director of Prasanthraj in Tamil.
Actress Tanya Hope, who acted in the popular film ‘Dharalaprabhu’ is the female lead in the film.It also stars Thambi Ramaiah Brahmanandam, Senthil, Kovai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan, Manobala, Y.G.Mahendran and Mottai Rajendran , among others.
Sources suggest that Santhanam is an employee in an advertising company and that he hopes to get a “kick” out of every single thing he does.
The story is centered around the hero and heroine, who are employed in competing advertising firms and the cat-and-mouse battle that ensues between them because of the rivalry.
Sources also say that director has created this film as a full length comedy.Incredibly, up to 12 different types of sets were constructed to shoot only two tracks in the movie.
