Mumbai, Aug 29 : King of Pop Michael Jackson is Farah Khan’s guru, says the choreographer-director herself.The director of the film ‘MainHoon Na’ posted on social media to celebrate the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s birthday and posted a throwback photo of the time she had a meeting with Michael Jackson in New York in 1999.In the photo the picture, a younger-looking Farah gazed at the camera, flashing a smile as she stood alongside her mentor Michael Jackson, who looked away from the camera.
Farah wrote in the caption: “My guru .turning point of my life happened when I saw Thriller .got to meet him in NY 1999 .still to get over that experience .happy birthday #michealjackson.#inspiration#kingofpop.”
Commenting on the post the fans expressed their feelings.One of them wrote “Wow I am so fortunate.” Another wrote: “Two rockstars of dancing in one frame.”
Farah the dancer who is renowned for the choreography of many of the most famous Bollywood songs, including Pehla Nasha’s ‘Pehla’ and ‘Cha Chaiyya”, has expanded into a variety of avenues of entertainment, including as a director and judge in numerous shows on television which include the popular singing reality show Indian Idol.
