The BJP’s Karnataka section is facing a lot of opposition from the party over the killings of Hindu activists in the state.

The pangs of reservation are returning as communities, including those of the Lingayat sub-sect Panchamasali leaders are launching a demonstration.

Yediyurappa is back in Bengaluru after his tour in New Delhi where he met with all the of the top BJP leaders.

Bommai stated: “They had discussed making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state on September 2 an immense success.”

The discussion also included on the Jan Sampark tour that would be undertaken by the BJP in Karnataka in the months of September and October.

“It was discussed to arrange tours from six centers under the direction of Yediyurappa and the State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel as well as myself.

The state-level meeting is scheduled, and the state level will decide on the tour for the state,” the Chief Minister added.

He claimed that he had informed Yediyurappa about the “Janotsav” program on September 8th, which is scheduled to mark the end of one year of Bommai at the Chief Minister’s office.

The show was cancelled at the very last minute prior to the killing of BJP activist Praveen Kumar Nettare in Dakshina Kannada district.

Sources in the BJP confirmed that the Central leadership, which had been adamant about Yediyurappa until recently had realized that it was very difficult to compete in the coming state Assembly elections without him leading the charge.

Although the BJP high command was looking to replace Yediyurappa Bommai’s inability become a popular leader in the state, and the unanimity displayed by the conflicting group of the opposing Congress in the state have forced the Central party’s leadership to disarm the old horse of the party Yediyurappa.
