“AI Test Kitchen” by Google is an application in which users can learn about the technology, experiment with it, and give feedback on Google’s new AI technology.

“Our aim is to learn to improve and develop responsibly in AI together. We’ll open up to small groups of people gradually,” said the company.

According to Alphabet and Google CEO Sunday Pichai, ‘AI Test Kitchen is “meant to give you an idea of what it would be like having LaMDA in your possession”.

The capability of these models of language to provide endless possibilities indicates the potential “but it also indicates they may not always get things exactly right”.

“And although we’ve made significant improvements in security as well as accuracy in the most recent version of LaMDA but we’re at the start of the journey,” said Google.

“We’ve added several layers of protection to the AI Test Kitchen.

This has reduced the chance of being harmed, but it hasn’t eliminated it completely,” it added.

Both Google and Meta (formerly Facebook) have revealed their AI chatbots that can talk to users, and are asking users to provide feedback.

Initial reports are frightening because the Meta chatbot called BlenderBot 3 believed that Mark Zuckerberg is “creepy and manipulative” and Donald Trump will always be the US president.

Meta claimed this week that conversations with AI chatbots are known to mimic and produce unintentional offensive, biased, or offensive remarks.

“BlenderBot isn’t perfect and can make offensive or rude comments and that’s why we’re gathering feedback to help improve the quality of our chatbots,” the company mentioned in a blog post.

In the last month, Google fired an engineer for breaching its confidentiality agreement when he claimed that the company’s AI was “sentient” due to the fact that it is able to feel emotions, feelings as well as subjective experience.

Lemoine also talked to LaMDA The interview came with unexpected and surprising responses.
