Chennai August 26, 2018 : Telugu star Nani’s first pan Indian film, ‘Dasara”, will be released around the world on March 30th, 2023, the film’s makers announced on Friday.The film, which is directed by Srikanth Odela, also features Keerthy Suresh in the role of female leading lady.
The action-packed, rustic film is produced on a massive budget by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the brand of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.
In a move out of his comfortable space, Nani plays a rustic character in this film.
The actor went through a rough makeover to portray this character.Particularly his Telangana dialect in the trailer for the film was a complete surprise to the audience.
The movie, which is scheduled to be released to celebrate Ram Navami is expected to capitalize on a long four-day weekend.Sources tell us that the studio hopes to also capitalize on the summer holiday season.
The company also released a brand new poster to mark the occasion.Nani is rugged looking in the image and holds an empty liquor bottle in the palm of his hand.
The background features a photo of the famous actress of the past, Silk Smitha, can be seen.
Sources tell us that filming started this week in Hyderabad.
The entire cast of the lead role is participating in the film’s shoot.
The story of the film takes place in the village of in Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani (Telangana) in Peddapalli district.
This is a unique story, and Nani will be seen in an unpreviously seen character.
Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab will also be featured in important parts in the film, which will feature music composed written by Santhosh Narayanan with Sathyan Sooryan filming the cinematography.
