Mumbai 25 August : Ashi Singh, who plays Meet Hooda in the daily soap ‘Meet’ revealed the experience of performing an outrageous stunt in which she is required to jump onto the moving road-roller in an episode in the show. “I enjoy performing my own stunts in the show.
In fact when I was first introduced to the idea of jumping on the road-roller, I was a bit unsure about how I could perform it.But I did my best to go with the flow and we managed to get the perfect shot in just two of shots.The most exciting thing was that I was able to recreate the scene exactly as my director had planned it , and it was my choice to not use the use of a harness.”
The “Yeh U Dinon Ki Baat Hai actress has put all her effort to achieve perfection in the performance of her character right from learning Haryanvi to perfecting her Gujarati look , and now performing stunts on her own.
Ashi explained the way she was preparing for her role stating: “I practised the scene several times to get comfortable with the brand new car.The roadroller was moving at reasonable speed, and it was difficult to get on it.Due to the weight of the vehicle I also had to apply lots of pressure into the accelerator to stop it.”
“Having said that it was a thrilling task for me to conquer and I hope to get more opportunities to impress audiences with something different,” concluded the 25-year-old with hopes that audiences will be impressed by her performance.
