Release of “Aquaman,” “Shazam!’ sequels delayed until later dates

Los Angeles, Aug 25 : Warner Bros.appears to be dealing with delays due to the fact that two of their films , ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! : Fury of the Gods which is due to release later than originally planned.
The studio released a series of release dates on Wednesday (Pacific Standard Time) and pushed the ‘Aquaman sequel to be released from March 17 to December 25 2023.The “Shazam!’ sequel will debut on the same date that was previously occupied by Jason Momoa’s huge King of Atlantis, reports Variety.

The story of Zachary Levi’s Billy Batson was originally set to premiere in theaters on the 21st of December 2022.

According to Variety on the new date’Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ will debut just a few days following Disney’s spinoff of ‘Star Wars Rogue Squadron (December 23rd 2023).

Meanwhile, ‘Shazam! : Fury of the Gods which was originally scheduled to be a match-up with James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water The Way of Water,’ now has the freedom to choose its opening weekend

Variety further reports it is part of the calendar shift that an “untitled WB event film” is scheduled to release on the 10th of February, 2023.”Evil Dead Rise” is scheduled for release on April 4, 2023.’The Conjuring’ sequel The Nun 2′ will launch on September 8 2023.

“Salem’s Lot’, originally scheduled for the 21st of April in 2023, has been moved to a date to be announced in the next year.
