New Delhi, Aug 23 : The popular player is known for his powerful shots and massive sixes Mandeep Singh made his debut with India in the year in 2016.The right-hand batsman has played with different franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been a prominent player in the U-19 Indian cricket team.Mandeep recently got involved with his fan base in the ShareChat Audio Chatroom session – ‘CricChat powered by Parimatch’.
When discussing his professional career, Mandeep recalled his debut in the Indian team in the year 2016.”I was playing in the IPL when I learned about the team I played for.My father would always tell methat when I play cricket, I must represent India.” He said, “I met Mahi Bhai in the lift just prior to my debut, and he requested that I be prepared for the following day.The moment I was on the field was awe-inspiring.” He added that he hit sixes to Andre is his greatest accomplishment to date.
Mandeep has been involved in the formation of numerous franchises like the Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
When asked about his time at the Delhi Capitals, he said, “Ricky Ponting and Rishabh Pant have created Delhi Capitals an extremely professional franchise.Ponting loves discipline and commitment and treats everybody equally”.
Commenting on the way Kohli has created a fitness-focused culture in the Indian team, he said, “When I joined RCB I was astonished to witness Virat Kohli’s dedication to training.The fitness of his has been key in becoming a consistent player in T20 cricket.It has helped bowlers get better and has helped Test cricket in general.”
He also discussed how playing IPL helped him to have confidence and financial stability.In the course of the discussion, Mandeep also spoke about K.L Rahul’s story.”During his U-19 years, K.L Rahul began working on his game and was preparing for the Test cricket.”
