Chennai 23 August : One of Tamil film’s most acclaimed directors Pa Ranjith has said that “Jai Bhim” is the word that brought him to where he is today.
Participating in the audio launch event of his film due out in the near future “Natchathiram Nagargiradhu,” Ranjith stated, “‘Jai Bhim’ is the word that brought me here.The journey that started in “Attakathi’ (his debut film) is now coming up to ‘Natchathiram Negiradhu’.”

Ranjith also slammed the compliment that he has helped a lot of individuals in the industry of film by providing them with opportunities.

He stated, “I haven’t made anybody to grow.They are skilled people and I have used the benefit of them, that’s all.I am pleased to have worked with them.”

In a speech praising the three directors and two producers Ranjith declared that he wanted them to be present at the launch event for the audio of the movie.

“It comes the work of director Venkat Prabhu that I learned.His film ‘Chennai ‘ 600028” was the movie that changed my life.

It taught me to create (into films) what I had thought.

“Sasi sir, that’s the reason I’m a good person with my assistant directors in the present.

While I was assistant director he would have me sit and talk to him.Vetrimaaran is an director who has shown me that the film can be made without compromise.I wanted the three directors to attend this event.”

Ranjith also acknowledged the producers Kalaipuli, S Thanu as well as Gnanavel Raja.

“Thanu sir allowed me lots of freedom in filming “Kabali”.He was not a fan of the ending, but he agreed to let me direct it for my own sake.

If Gnanavel Raja sir not made my first film , ‘Attakathi”, I would not have been here today.I consider them to be very significant in my life.” Ranjith said.
