New Delhi, Aug 20 : The capital of India has reported on the weekend 1,109 new Covid illnesses in the past 24 hours, compared to 1,417 cases reported the previous day according to the health bulletin.At the same the city has also reported another 9 Covid connected deaths.
The discovery of new cases increased Delhi’s total number of cases to 19,92,881 while the death count was raised to 26,420.
In the meantime the Covid positive percentage of the city has increased to 11.23 percent.The total number of active cases is 5,559, of the 3,954 patients being treated in isolation at home.
With 1,687 patients undergoing treatment in the past 24 hours the total amount of recovery has increased to 19,60,902.
The total number of Covid containment zones is at 291.
The total of 9,874 new tests — 8,705 RTPCR and 1,169 Rapid Antigen was performed in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 3,980,00226 while 16,859 vaccines were administered952 first doses as well as 2,449 second doses and 13,458 doses of precaution.
The number of total beneficiaries who have been vaccinated as of now stands at 3,6183,964 in accordance with the health bulletin.
