Hyderabad 20th August : Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday said the by-election scheduled to the Munugode Assembly constituency should send an unambiguous message to the whole nation.In front of a huge public gathering in Munugode the constituency in Nalgonda district, to officially begin the election campaign of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) with a scathing attack on the BJP.
The TRS chief claimed that the Narendra Modi-led Central government is seeking to end the welfare schemes The TRS chief claimed that as for as he is alive, schemes like Rythu Bandhu Rythu Bhima, Aasara pensions and free electricity for farmers will not end.
The chief minister informed the citizens that the by-election was not just a fight for political power but concerns their survival.
Speaking a day ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s public forum in the district, CM KCR cautioned people against being too excited and warned that in the event that BJP wins , it will eliminate with welfare programs and replace pumps that use electricity to fix.
“Do you plan to vote for people who want to fix meters , or those who oppose installing meters?” KCR asked.KCR.
He asked the people of Munugode to consider why the by-poll was required of them and to whom it was for the purpose or benefit.He asked why there was a need for a by-poll if elections are just one year away.”BJP will never be able to hold its deposits in this particular constituency.If they win in this constituency, they will put meters in,” he said.
Komatireddy Rajagopal’s resignation as a MLA has created the vacant.Reddy who quit the Congress party is expected to join the BJP on Sunday in the presence of Amit Shah.
KCR also has accused the Centre of deliberately delaying the share of the state in Krishna water.He encouraged Amit Shah to address this in the public meeting on Sunday.
The TRS chief blasted the BJP for its anti-people policies and politicizing in a divisive manner The TRS chief suggested there should be a debate about what is going on.
He was pleased with the decision of the Communist Party of India (CPI) to not contest the by-election, and offered his the support of TRS in their fight to beat BJP and hope that CPI-M will also join forces with TRS in their fight against BJP.
KCR also expressed confidence that the unity of the party will be maintained through Munugode through Delhi.He declared that efforts were being made to bring all forces of progress together to take out BJP.
KCR said to the people that they have his power in his fight against Prime Minister.He encouraged them to strengthen their arms in this fight
He also slammed the BJP for its arrogance and its attempts to throw democratic principles into the wind by bringing down opposition government officials in different states.
“In the 119-member Telangana Assembly, TRS has 103 members , while its amiable party is represented by seven.There are only nine other members but they’re so arrogant that they speak of the creation of Eknath Shindes.” he said.
He claimed that BJP spoke of dismantling the DMK government in Tamil Nadu and Mamata Banerjee’s administration in West Bengal.
Their arrogance could cause their demise,” he said.
On the threat of BJP leaders to make use of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against him, he remarked that he was not scared of “ED,” Bodi’.”Thieves are afraid of ED.People who are working for the public’s well-being and welfare will never be afraid.If ED people show up to me, they will serve me tea.” he said.
