Amaravati, 20 August : Son-in law of an Andhra Pradesh legislator of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has died under mysterious circumstances.

Manjunath Reddy (34) Son-in-law of the government whip and Anantapur district’s Rayadrug MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy was found dead on late on Friday in his home in an apartment complex in Kunchanapalli in Guntur district.

Manjunath Reddy stayed in the flat for two or three days on his trips to the area.

He was here three days ago, but was found dead in mysterious circumstances on the Friday.

The deceased was from Annamayya district.

His father Maheshwar Reddy is the director of YSRCP and the owner of PMR Construction company.

Manjunath Reddy worked as an employee while his wife Sravanti is a doctor.They were married just four years ago.Maheshwar Reddy rushed to Vijayawada after hearing about the death of his son.

Initially the death was initially referred to as “suicide.” However, the statements of other people living nearby and the condition in the apartment suggest the possibility that he died in suspicious circumstances.Police are also reticent about the incident.

According to the people living in the apartment, Narendra Reddy, who is the caretaker of Manjunath Reddy’s home was found in the flat at around 5.30 p.m.and then an ambulance was able to reach the spot.

The body was transported to Mangalagiri government hospital for an autopsy before being transferred to Rayachoti.

Tadepalli police filed a case following a complaint made by Maheshwar Reddy.He blamed family issues and the pressure from debts on his demise.

He identified the name of Chakdradhar Reddy in his complaint and demanded an in-depth investigation of the state.
