Lagos 20th August : Nigerian police has stated that at minimum two people died as well as five other people were wounded in the church’s annual event in Lagos the country’s main economic center.A child and an adult died in the stampede that occurred on Thursday morning, during the church service.
the church in the Ikotun region of the state of Lagos, according to Lagos Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin in a brief statement Friday.
Authorities are looking into the cause of the incident, he stated, and added that the wounded are receiving treatment in an area hospital, Xinhua news agency reported.
