Chennai 18 August : Telugu superstar Nagarjuna on Thursday admitted that the word ‘Tamahagane’ actually refers to a legendary metal used to create swords for the toughest of warriors.Recently, Northstar Entertainment, the production company that is producing Nagarjuna’s next film The Ghost, has posted an online question asking people on social media whether they knew what ‘Tamahagane’ actually meant in the course of its efforts to promote the film.
Nagarjuna also reiterated the question put forth by the producer house stating “What is Tamahagane Do you think Tamahagane is? Can you guess?”
The issue attracted the attention of hundreds of movie buffs and fans who wanted to know what the meaning of the word was.However, not all were able to make it.The promotion worked and the issue sparked the curiosity of online users.
On the Thursday of his birthday, Nagarjuna decided to reveal the answer.
He disclosed, “#TAMAHAGANE!! A legendary metal used for the Katana of the most fierce of warriors throughout the ages.It is now in the hands of “The Ghost”! Trailer will be out in theaters on August 25th.”
The actor also posted an online video in which he made a sword made of the material.The video promo shows that the word is actually a mix of two words Tama meaning precious and ‘Hagane’ referring to’steel’.
