Hyderabad 17 August : In advance of the release of the film that is due to be released in August “Liger,” actress Ananya Pandey was a part of the pooja and sought the blessings of her co-star’s mother, Vijay Deverakonda’s at his home in Hyderabad. Ananya posted on Instagram and posted a post on the platform, where she posted three photos of the pooja she had kept for the film “Liger”.
The first photo shows both the actors seated on the couch with an red-colored cloth covering the couch.A number of priests is shown standing beside them.
The second picture shows the two smiling as Vijay’s mom who’s dressed in a green saree wishes them luck.
Ananya captioned the photos: “Blessings from Vijay Deverakonda’s amma and a pooja held at his house in Hyderabad for “Liger”.Thank you for the blessings.auntyyyyyy.”
Vijay also shared the photo on his Instagram page and added: “This whole month touring across India and receiving lots of gratitude already feels like God’s gift! But mummy believes we need his protection.So, pooja and scared bands were put on for the rest of us.Now she can rest in tranquility while we tour.”
“Liger” is directed by Puri Jagannadh.Filmed simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages the film is made by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.Vijay plays the title role MMA fighter boxer along with Ananya, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna.
American boxer Mike Tyson plays an extended part in a cameo, making his acting debut in Indian film.
