Mumbai 17 August : The fantasy-themed drama “House of the Dragon’ that is a prequel to the hit show ‘Game of Thrones’, recently had its star-studded debut in Mumbai.The event was attended by a host of celebrities and influencers who were present, including Jim Sarbh, Rohit Saraf, Prajakta Koli, Plabita Borthakur, Aahana Kumra, Rohan Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Varun Thakur, Rohan Joshi, Yashaswini Dayama, Samara Tijori, Atul Kulkarni, and Amit Tandon.Many stars wanted to play the role of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen which was as played by Emma D’Arcy.Actor Abhishek Banerjee has said: “Princess Rhaenyra is my new favorite.I’m speculating that she will be a major character in the show and, when a woman is a leader in a group of powerful men it’s likely that lots of bizarre things will occur.”
The actor Jim Sarbh found Prince Daemon Targaryen who is performed by Matt Smith, interesting.He stated: “The journey of Daemon is quite thrilling to watch.The brother who is cast out ultimately contesting the the contest of the throne sounds thrilling.”
Meanwhile, actress Plabita Borthakur who was last seen in “Escaype Live,” claimed that she would like to play the role of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen If she had the chance.”I have a lot of confidence and certainty in her.She appears very clear, without confusion.”
The celebration featured a wall of the characters from the series as well with the dragon’s nest.The show is based on George R.R.Martin’s book ‘Fire & Blood’, the brand-new 10-episode drama tells the tale of the House of Targaryen, set 200 years prior to the events that captured global viewers in Game of Thrones’.
The show, which stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar starting August 22nd, with new episodes coming every Monday.
