To ensure quality education there should be one teacher for 25-30 students, he said, adding that this will open up enormous opportunities for teachers who are qualified.

He said that the accounts of private schools will be audited , and If they are found to be making profits, he would demand that the school’s management refund the money to parents.

When the people of Kutch wanted drinking water from the Narmada project the Delhi Chief Minister replied, “Today is my birthday as a birthday present should you choose to elect my party into power, in return, I will offer Narmada water to Kutch.”

He ridiculed the Gujarat government’s decision to increase allowances of police officers instead of increasing their pay grade.

Kejriwal stated, “Ruling party is behaving as if it is obligated to pay for a raise in salary out of its pockets. How do they manage to be so uncooperative when it pays salary to its police and teachers.”

He appealed to police officers to accept the increase in allowances and promised that, once the AAP is elected in Gujarat, he will increase the salary levels of police officers.

Gujarat Assembly polls are slated to take place in December 2022.
