Islamabad 14 August : Two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed in Harnai, Balochistan in a gun battle with terrorists in the area, the Pakistan military’s media affairs wing reported on Sunday.In an announcement that was released, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorists attacked the security post in Harnai’s Khost area late on Saturday night.
The fire was repelled by the soldiers, Dawn reported.
The attackers with guns attempted to flee after slaying the police the ISPR said.ISPR stated.
“The escapees were pursued through the nearby mountains and a flurry of intense fire ensued,” it said.
It was reported that the gun battle also caused Major Umer injured, and caused loss to terrorists.
The media wing of the military said “at the on the eve of the 75th Independence Day, security forces are determined to stop any attempts to undermine the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.”
On Saturday, a soldier of the army was killed in an IED explosion in Lower Dir as militants increased their attacks on security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Similar to the incident on the 9th of August the same day, Four soldiers were killed in the suicide attack on an army convoy in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district.
