Chennai 8th August : Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi has come under criticism following an incident in which the incident in which an ICU ambulance was forced to wait in the bridge in Kumbakonam in order for the convoy to pass following the video of the incident was made viral.The minister on Saturday traveling in the convoy of 15 vehicles.
A policewoman stopped the ambulance until it was cleared.According to the video that was viral, even though the siren of the ambulance blared the police refused to allow it to move until all vehicles in the minister’s convoy had passed through.
BJP Leader Narayanan Thirupathy has called on the Minister to accept his resignation as well as Chief Minister M.K.Stalin to offer an apology in full to the citizens of Tamil Nadu and the nation.He also demanded that strict action to be taken against corrupt officers.
