New Delhi, Aug 6 : In the ongoing conflict over the controversial liquor policy, a fresh dispute has emerged between the Delhi government and the LG after the Montenegro consulate complained to the LG about the deterioration of the water supply.In a letter addressed to Delhi LG, Honorary Consul General Dr Janice Darbari complained that the Consulate General Office was not receiving water for the last two days.
“The Delhi Jal Board has stated it would send a tanker with water however, there hasn’t been any action taken.The water supply is drained and dirty.” Dr.Darbari complained.
The chief secretary has taken note of the issue, LG Vinai Kumar Saxena has immediately instructed the secretary in charge to investigate the issue.
“Received complaints from the Consulate of Montenegro concerning non-supply of water, inaccessibility of tankers and filthy water with low pressure.DJB.Directed CS to resolve the problem.
The LG has urged CM Arvind Kejriwal ji take action on issues that could affect India’s image internationally” LG wrote LG in an email.
The Consul General has asked Delhi LG Saxena to deal with the issue “as it interferes with the work of the diplomatic mission in India”.
