Leading actor Sonu Sood is in trouble in Punjab.Sonusood’s vehicle was confiscated by the Election Commission.A case has been registered against Sonu under 188IPC for violating the orders of the District Magistrate at Moga Police Station.The case was registered for violating the orders of Moga Additional District Magistrate in Punjab regarding the Code of Conduct for Elections.
Sonu Sood’s sister Malvika Sood is contesting from Moga constituency as part of the Punjab Assembly elections from the Congress party.Authorities prevented Sonu from visiting the polling stations in this order.
Not only that, according to the election rules, outsiders should not be in the state 48 hours before the start of polling.
Moga police said they had filed a case against Sonu for defying orders issued by the district additional magistrate regarding the electoral code.
After the Election Commission action, Sonu Sood left for South Africa that evening for a film shoot.Sonu Sood was reportedly campaigning for his sister Malvika Sood, who is contesting on a Congress ticket from Moga, said Harpreet Singh, a police officer posted on election duty.
Some people from Mumbai were also with him.Police say Sonu went on to impress voters.Sonu Sood, however, denied the allegations.Police seized the car.
