Health Minister and Finance Minister Harish Rao said that Telangana was ranked third in the country and BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh was ranked 33rd due to the measures taken by CM KCR on public health.Telangana is giving Rs 9,750 per month to Asha Workers, while PM Modi’s home state is giving Rs 4000 per month.
The minister on Sunday launched a program to distribute smart phones to 27,000 Asha activists in the state in Kamareddy.He inspected the District Central Hospital and the Mata Shishu Care Hospital under construction and met with doctors and Asha activists at the Collectorate.
Asha activists are being provided with smart phones to provide better services to the people.
The minister said NCD kits would soon be provided to provide all the medicines required for BP and diabetes at home.
He said the government was seeking the welfare of its employees and was giving a government job to the wife of a doctor who died of a heart attack in Gandhari.He said he would call the doctors and find out how the Asha workers were working and talk to the Asha workers about the doctors.
