Committee should be formed on formation of new districts – Somu Veerraju demands!

AP Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Somu Veerraju has criticized the governments approach in setting up new districts in Andhra Pradesh.

Which areas should meet in the new districts and which city should be the capital.

Somu Veerraju demanded that a committee be set up to hold a referendum to decide who should be named.Somu Veerraju said that it was the BJPs national policy to form small states and small districts for ease of administration and that it had announced in its 2014 manifesto that it would make 25 districts in AP as well.

He said the party had selected the parliamentary districts for the activities.He said we welcome the formation of districts by Jagan’s government, but said a referendum was needed.

He said it was incorrect to comment that the people had a constitution to choose from.He said the constitution was more supreme than victory in elections.

Though its people who make or break the government during elections, but he said they condemn if its left to people to decide the constituencies.They demanded that the Jinnah Tower in Guntur be renamed Abdul Kalam Tower.

He also suggested that the names of British kings should be changed to KGHs and GGHs to give the names of local leaders, in honor of Gautham Lachanna and Thenneti Vishwanath.
