Hyderabad police have denied permission for a rally by Bhartiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda.They said permission was denied in the wake of the Covid-19 regulations.
BJP Telangana leaders have decided to hold a 14-day protest in the wake of the arrest and 14-day remand of BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay.
As part of this, a rally will be held in Secunderabad on Tuesday evening.
JP Nadda is coming to the city to participate in this rally.Police said no rallies or public meetings were allowed in the state with corona regulations, hence the denial of permission for a candlelight rally.
Nadda was reportedly intercepted at the airport in the wake of this.However, BJP leaders said they would hold the rally.
Dubbaka BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao was arrested by the police on Tuesday.A protest was organized in Dubbaka on Tuesday condemning the arrest of Bandi Sanjay.
Police arrested MLA Raghunandan Rao, who was going to participate in the protest, at Toopran Toll Plaza.However, police initially tried to place Raghunandan under house arrest at his residence in Hyderabad.
He spoke to the Assembly Speaker and the Commissioner of Police on the phone and left for Dubbaka.
He was arrested by local police at Toopran Toll Plaza and taken to the police station.It is learned that Bandi Sanjay was on vigil on January 2 from 7.30 pm to 5 am to solve the problems of the teachers.On Monday, the court remanded Bandi Sanjay for 14 days.With this, the BJP called for protests for 14 days.
District and zonal centres were told to take part in the protest wearing black badges.As part of this, the police are detaining leaders who are going to participate in Vigil.
