Lucknow, December 30, : , The Shiv Sena of Uttar Pradesh questioned Thursday’s Statement by the Election Commission that all eligible citizens would have been vaccinated before the forthcoming Assembly Elections.Vishwajeet Sing, Secretary to Shiv Sena said in a statement that on Thursday the Chief Election Commissioner had stated that 50% of the state’s population was vaccinated.
The 100 percent target will be met by the time that elections are held.
There must be at least a 90-day gap between the two doses.How is that possible? He asked.
He stated that millions of lives were at risk because the Election Commission appeared to be rushing into election.
Shiv Sena’s leader also stated that the CEC had only invited selected parties to a meeting, which would have undermined the purpose of the meeting.
