Seoul 26 December : .South Korean tech giant LG is working on a brand new laptop that features touchpads on each side of the keyboard.The World Intellectual Property Organisation portal has published a patent for a LG laptop.According to GizmoChina, the patent was submitted by LG on June 8, 2020.
It has been published by WIPO on December 24, 2019.
It is significantly smaller than the keyboards on conventional laptops.
The LG patent filing states that the design includes a laptop computer that has functional touchpads on each side of its keyboard.It also shows that the touchpads on the subject design have been transformed to a numeric keypad, and a functional pad that adjusts the screen brightness and volume.
Letters, numbers and icons are used on the functional touchpads and broken lines.These indicate parts of the article which do not form part of the claimed design.
LG also invented a laptop with a 17.-inch screen that can be folded up and stored away.It can be unrolled from 13.3 inches to 17 inches.
It appears that the touchpad and keyboard can be folded up to save space, according to the photo.
Although information about this laptop roll-able is scarce at the moment, we can anticipate more online.
LG isn’t a new company when it comes rolling display devices.The company already has a rollable TV that can be folded up and taken anywhere.
