One such person is Ranveer Singh.Ranveer Singh, who plays Kapil Dev on Kabir Khan’s 83, spoke candidly to IANS about how he overcome his “know everything” attitude in the early stages of his career.
Ranveer puts a lot of effort into his films.The Bollywood star is an example of what it means to approach your work honestly, from bulking up in preparation for Alauddin Khilji’s role in “Padmavat” to becoming a slim man in “Gully Boy”.
He learned a vital lesson in his early career that helped him to become a star.
With ’83, the acclaimed actor is now the most famous of his generation.
Both film critics and cricket fans are praising his performance.
The 36-year old actor has achieved a remarkable list of accomplishments in such a short time.
However, he is still down to earth and feels there are many more things to do.
“Mai actor ban gaya yaar, mujhe aaj tak yakin nahi ho raha hai! It’s amazing that I am an actor.It was a great opportunity to collaborate with Sanjay Lela Bhansali and Zoya Akhtar.Rohit Shetty.Kabir Khan.Karan Johar.The response that I’m getting is overwhelming.Kapil Dev is the leading role in this big movie.Ranveer, who was visibly moved by the film’s success, spoke to IANS during an intimate interview.
The actor said, “Let’s tell you my story.” When I began my Bollywood career, ten years ago, I believed I had it all.After ‘Band Baaja Baaraat,’ I believed I was an actor who knew all about acting.It was my right to have whatever opportunities I get, it is mine.
Although I wasn’t feeling like this when I was in trouble, it was because I felt so anxious.I was anxious about my experiences.All the rejections and humiliation made me feel wronged.
It was clear that, despite my efforts over the last three-four year to get an opportunity, I didn’t receive one.
It starts to play with your head after a certain point.It makes you angry, frustrated and anxious.It was from within that ‘Band Baaja Baaraat” became so popular.It was my entitlement that led me to believe I knew everything about acting.
But then I realized that I didn’t know anything about acting.
I started working more as the years went by.It is infinite.There are no boundaries.There is no limit to your possibilities.You can die here.It is where I learned and realized that you have the power to give more.Ranveer stated that performance art is unlimited.
He said he felt grateful for all the opportunities that came his way and emphasized how thankful he was.I feel truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with such great directors.My mentor once said to me that you must be the first choice of the director when he/she is making a movie.
Ranveer can transform into any shape you want.We’ve seen it in ‘Bajirao and ’Padmavat’, ‘Simmba’, ’83’, and even ‘Gully Boy’.There is always a chance of getting fat and losing weight.This can prove to be very dangerous.
Ranveer responded to the observation by saying: “Yes.There is risk involved.High risks are what I take.Our bodies must be shaped to suit the demands of our characters.This is done under strict supervision.
Kabir Khan is the director of ’83, which tells the story about the 1983 World Cup victory for India cricket.
Ranveer portrays Kapil Dev as the victorious captain; Pankaj Tripathi plays Tahir Raj Bhasin and Jiiva.The rest of the cast include Pankaj Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi), Jiiva, Saqib Salem, Harrdy Sindhu, Jiiva.
