Officials said that the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patel launched several development projects in his district Ganjam on Sunday (12/12/IANS).Patnaik visited the district in order to distribute smart cards for beneficiaries under the Biju Swarthya Kalyana Yojana (BSKY).He inaugurated 651 projects and laid the foundation stone to 645 projects totalling Rs 1.582.94 crore.
These projects cover many sectors, including drainage, roads, bridges and education.
We have begun to distribute BSKY smart card in Ganjam district.Patnaik stated that work is ongoing to develop Maa Tara Tarini’s temple.The target was set for January 2023.
Additionally, he distributed Rs 100 crore loans to different women in the Self Help Groups (SHGs).
About 26.76 people of the district would be benefitted from the smart health card facility.
The beneficiaries can avail free health services by using this card in more than 200 big hospitals across the country including Odisha, Patnaik said.
As per the scheme, each family can avail treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh per annum.
Women members can avail this benefit up to Rs 10 lakh every year.
