Minister Harish Rao and new MP Prabhakar Reddy exercised their voting right in the local body MLC elections at Siddipet Degree College polling station.
Afterwards Minister Harish said that in a democracy the vote is very valuable.
For the first time, MLAs, MPs and MLCs have been given the opportunity to vote in local body MLC elections, he said.He said almost 99 per cent voting would take place in the district.
Minister Harish Rao said that it is the duty of the people to exercise their right to vote in this election where the people’s representatives elect another representative.
