New Delhi, Nov 18, : , Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Thursday that the Indian healthcare industry has earned global trust and been called “the pharmacy of the world” in recent years.We believe in human well-being.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister stated that this was something she had done.
His definition of “wellness” was not restricted by any physical limitations.
“We exported vital medicines and equipment to more than 150 countries in the first phase of the pandemic.Modi stated that we have exported 65 million Covid vaccines this year to almost 100 countries.
On Thursday, he inaugurated the inaugural Global Innovation Summit for the pharmaceutical sector.The occasion was attended by Dr.Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister.
Modi addressed the group and stated that the pandemic had brought to the forefront the sector of pharmaceuticals.
The Prime Minister stated that “whether it’s lifestyle or medicine, medical technology or vaccines, all aspects of healthcare have received worldwide attention over the past two years.”
He stated that India’s pharmaceutical industry had also responded to this challenge.
Also, the Prime Minister envisaged a system of innovation to make India an innovator in medical device development and drug discovery.
According to him, policy decisions are made after extensive consultation with all parties.
He pointed out that India is home to many scientists and technologists who have the potential to lead the sector to new heights.
He said, “This strength must be harnessed in order to ‘Discover and Make In India’.”
Today, India is home to 1.3 billion Indians who have decided to call India “Aatmanirbhar”.We must now think about increasing domestic production of essential ingredients for medicines and vaccines.Modi stated that India must conquer this frontier.
Invited by the Prime Minister, the parties were invited to Innovate in India (Ideate in India), Make in India (Make for the World) and Innovate in India (Innovate in India).The message was “Discover your strength to serve the world.”
