A case has been registered against BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, said SP AV Ranganath.The SP clarified that permission was not sought for Bandi Sanjay’s visit.
Also, he said that meetings were not allowed as the MLC Election Code was in force in the state.He said that meetings and tours should not be conducted in the state without prior permission as the MLC election code is in force.
According to SP AV Ranganath, cases have been registered against the leaders of both the BJP and TRS activists in the incident following a visit to the Nalgonda district without any prior permission.
The SP revealed that they have done lathi-charge to maintain peace and security as TRS activists tried to obstruct Bandi Sanjay’s visit while inspecting IKP centres and grain purchasing centres.
SP AV Ranganath said that BJP leaders had not taken any permission from the district administration or the police department for Bandi Sanjay’s visit.Also, he said that they had given a letter for permission after Bandi Sanjay entered the Nalgonda district.
On the other hand, recently, the BJP delegation approached Telangana Governor to complain about the TRS activities in the state.
