Indrakeeladri Durga Temple EO Bhramaramba recently said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy would present silk garments to Goddess Kanaka Durga on behalf of the AP state government on the 12th of this month in the wake of the Dussehra celebrations organized by the Indrakeeladri temple management.
Also, she said that CM Jagan would present the silk garments to Goddess Durga at 3 pm on Moola Nakshatra day.Devotees will be allowed to see the goddess Durga from 4 am to 11 pm.However, she made it clear that in the wake of covid, arrangements have been made allowing only 10,000 devotees a day to buy tickets online and to visit the temple.
Prasadam counters in Kanaka Durganagar sells prasadam from 5 am to 11 pm.As an alternative to Anna Prasadam, Sambar rice and curd rice parcels will be distributed to devotees from 11 am to 4 pm.
Endowments department Minister Velampally Srinivasa Rao, Chief Secretary Vanimohan, Chairman of the Governing Body Somi Naidu and other government departments in coordination with the Vedic Committee are making arrangements for the devotees.Also, the officials are taking steps to complete the arrangements by Oct 5.
