Three corporators from Visakhapatnam, who won the recent Visakhapatnam Corporation elections as independent candidates, have joined the YSR Congress party.With their joining, the YSRCP strength in the Corporation increased to 61.Independent corporators Kandula Nagaraj, Villuri Bhaskara Rao and Mohammad Sadiq from 32nd, 35th and 39th wards of GVMC were cordially invited to the party at a function in Thimmapuram, Visakhapatnam.Along with them, former GVMC corporator, Janasena leader Muvala Polarao and TDP leader Surishetti Laxman also joined the party.
Tatarao, who was suspended from YSRCP, was also reinstated to the party.
On this occasion, a discussion has been held regarding the activity to be initiated to further strengthen the party in the city.
The meeting was attended by party city president Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, Visakhapatnam North constituency party observer KK Raju, YCP state additional secretary Molly Apparao, party senior leaders Palla Durgarao and Lakshana Rao.
On the other hand, recently, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced that the board exams for Tenth and Intermediate will be held in the state immediately when the intensity of corona reduces.The AP govt believes that these marks will reflect the future of students to get admissions in top Universities in India and abroad.
