Telangana Chief Minister KCR conducted a review meeting with officials from Pragati Bhavan.The CM conducted a video conference with all the district collectors and SPs.On this occasion, the CM KCR expressed displeasure over the manner in which the lock-down was being implemented.The CM directed the officials to enforce the lockdown strictly for 20 hours daily in the state.
CM KCR said that they are implementing the lockdown without considering the revenue department which funds the state government in the form of taxes at the highest level.Therefore, CM KCR directed all district collectors and SPs to take steps to ensure that the lock-down be strictly enforced.CM KCR ordered that strict action be taken on those who appear on the road after 10.10 am.
KCR said a decision would be taken in the cabinet on the issues of outsourced staff working in the covid ward.KCR made it clear that they will conduct a special drive of vaccination for RTC conductors, drivers, vegetable traders, salesmen, etc.The number of positive cases being registered in Yadadri and Nagar Kurnool districts is not decreasing, KCR said.The CM directed the Health Secretary to go to these districts and review the situation.Lockdown showed much better results in Telangana.
