Suriya‘s upcoming release ‘Soorarai Pottru’ which is getting dubbed and released simultaneously into Telugu as ‘Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra’ has been in the news last week as the film has been delayed for the reason of not obtaining a NOC- No Objection Certificate from the aviation industry and Indian Air Force.
A couple of days back, the makers confirmed that they have finally received the pending NOC from the concerned departments and the film is ready for release on November 13th through Amazon Prime Video.
This film is a fictionalized version of the book “Simply Fly” written on the life of Air Deccan founder Capt.GR.Gopinath.
Today, the makers released the trailer of the film which shows Suriya playing the role of Gopinath, an ambitious man who wants to take over the aviation world like never before by coming up with the idea of flying planes for 1 rupee per ticket.
Suriya will be seen sporting a different look in this flick and the trailer promises that he going to deliver another terrific performance.
Aparna Balamurali is the female lead of the film which is being directed by Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’ fame Sudha Kongara.
The film is jointly produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their banners of 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment and has music by GV.Prakash Kumar whereas the cinematography is handled by Niketh Bommi.The film also has Dr.M.Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Vivek Prasanna, Urvashi, Karunas, Krishna Kumar, and Kaali Venkat in the supporting roles.
