When the world is running on the shoes of technology, a few villages in India are still under the shadow of superstitions.

Recently a heinous act was committed by a group of villagers who allegedly murdered a man over the suspicion of practising black magic.

Almost 15 people in Pulaguda village of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh allegedly murdered a man on Saturday night.

The deceased victim identified as V Nayakamma alias Nayak who was 44 years old and worked as a small farmer in the same village.The villagers believe that the victim was practising witchcraft for which a man died two weeks ago.

According to the reports, the main accused and a few villagers went to Nayak’s (victim) house and beat him to death for allegedly murdering a villager, K Ramesh with his black magic technique.Although the wife of Ramesh said that he died of illness, the villagers did not believe her statement and outrageously killed Nayak on Saturday night.

The police have filed a case against the 15 members who were responsible for Nayak’s death and a probe is going on.
