People are going to witness a rare Blue Moon on 31 October for the first time in seven and a half decades.

According to the researchers, a rare Blue Moon appears in the sky this October 31, which is Halloween day.Researchers call it a Blue Moon, not because it appears in blue, but for the second of two full Moons to occur in a single calendar month.
The last Blue Moon appeared on 31 March 2018.But it was way back to 31 October 1944, where the Blue Moon and Halloween day coincided in the same year.
According to the reports, the 2020 Halloween full moon is visible to the entire world for the first time since World War II.
Normally, months have only one full moon, but rarely a second one comes in.It has a reason, usually full moons separated by 29 days, and every month have either 30 or 31 days.At an average, the remaining days result in a blue moon in every two and a half years.
