The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) has released SOPs for re-opening Cinema halls.
The Central government has come up with a new set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to re-open the Cinema Halls from October 15, as stated during the announcement of Unlock 5.
As per the new guidelines issued, all the theatres including Multiplexes are allowed with 50 per cent occupancy only.Thermal screening should be carried at the entry-level and will not be allowed inside if found symptomatic, even though the ticket has taken.
The audiences have advised avoiding any unnecessary movements inside the theatres before the movie time or during intermission. And one of the main guidelines states that no food delivery will be allowed inside the theatres while screening.Only packaged food will be allowed.Besides, wearing a mask until the movie completes is a must, and everyone should share their contact details for tracing purpose.
Although the Central government has given the green signal for re-opening Cinema halls, the final decision will be on the hands of State governments. You can watch the complete guidelines list from the tweet of I&B here.
