It is already reported that on February 19 at around 9:30 PM, a crane collapsed and fell on the technicians on the sets of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’.The accident killed three technicians in the team, namely Krishna (assistant director), Chandran (art assistant) and Madhu (production assistant).
Well, it has been a week since the tragic accident happened, but the impact is still huge and traumatic.

Director Shankar who is also on the spot when the accident happened is also reportedly had a few injuries but is doing good now.This Kollywood star director has now taken on twitter and tweeted an emotional message regarding the tragic incident.This is the first time he is coming out with a statement about the incident and he seems to be very disturbed.
“It is with utmost grief, I’m tweeting.Since the tragic incident, I’ve been in a state of shock & having sleepless nights on the loss of my AD & crew.
Having missed the crane by a whisker, I feel it would’ve been better if it was on me.Heartfelt condolences & prayers to the families” Shankar tweeted on his official handle.

‘Indian 2’, produced by Lyca Productions, features an ensemble cast which includes Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jammwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simhaa, Samuthirakani and Vivek in prominent roles.It is still not yet known as to when the shooting will resume.Stat tuned for more updates!
