If you remember, Srimanthudu was initially supposed to release on July 17th.But Mahesh Babu and team postponed it to August 10th.That’s all because of Baahubali.Rajamouli and team in a gentle conversation asked Mahesh Babu to give them enough space to reap the benefits of zero competition.
Mahesh Babu agreed to postpone his movie understanding the financial tasks Baahubali had.Everything went smoothly and friendly.Baahubali producers and Rajamouli thanked the Superstar for his kind gesture
Now the situation is quite similar.Shankar’s 2.0 is slated for April 27th release and so does Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu. Both films are equally hyped in Telugu states since Mahesh is a Superstar and Shankar – Rajinikanth combination carries a Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu or NTR film like hype here.
If in case both films release on the very same date, both will eat up each other’s business. In fact, 2.0 will loose more in a potential market where they can recover a major part of their investment
May be, 2.0 makers should approach Mahesh Babu in all gentle manner like Baahubali makers did.Only then, Mahesh would his film to another date again considering financial challenges the Robo sequel has to go through. Will Shankar and Rajinikanth do that?
