Holy dip time for Pushkarams started but its advised to devotees to be cautious on selection of place for this holy dip.Pushkaram’s started from today i.e.12th August 2016 and its anticipated that over 1.2 crores of pilgrims will be participating in ongoing Pushkaram.Pushkaram will last for 12 days.
A worth noting point for pilgrims is some dangerous E-Coli Bacteria’s are found in Krishna river specially in Seethanagaram Ghat in Guntur district where these bacteria’s are caused due to dumping of paper wastes from industries and colonies.Doctors of 30 members team size made a study on this E-Coli Bateria.
Skin experts stated that this holy dip in Krishna water might result in skin allergies, drinking of this water is still dangerous as Diarrhea, Typhoid, Dehydration are expected.Kidney and some personal problems are also possible.
Government must work on arresting such dangerous bacteria’s immediately and ensure this holy dip will be a memorable one by taking all preventive measures like using of soaps, shampoos and plastic covers.
