Andhra Pradesh BJP chief Somu Veerraju supports Amaravati farmers.
BJP State chief Somu Veerraju promised to keep Amaravati as the only capital of Andhra Pradesh if the BJP comes to power in the State in 2024.
He assured that AP would have all-round development in just five years, and Amaravati will have a place at the top in the world developed cities with 5,000 Cr.
Speaking at an event organized by the state unit of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh in Thullur on Monday, Somu Veerraju has supported the farmers and assured that Amaravati would continue to be the only capital of Andhra Pradesh.Besides, he praised the determination of the agitating farmers and condemned the comments of YSRCP leaders that stressed the need for three Capitals for AP.Somu Veerraju reiterated that BJP too want Amravati as the State capital and there is no question about it.
Further, the State BJP president has asked the Jagan-led Andhra Pradesh government to issue pattas to farmers who gave their lands in Amaravati.According to the reports, 64,000 farmers have given their lands for the sake of developing capital in Amaravati.
With a firm voice, Somu Veerraju condemned the stance of Jagan on three Capitals and said BJP would construct its State Head Quarters in Vijayawada.
