Victory Venkatesh is currently working on his Telugu remake of Saala Khadoos, which is titled as Guru.The film is directed by the same Sudha Kongara who made the original.
The very same Ritika Singh is playing the lead role in this boxing drama.Venkatesh will appear as the coach of Ritika in the film.
Initially, the makers of Guru planned to release the film in the end of December.For the reason of in completion of shoot, the film was later moved to January 26th, as a republic day release.
But now, even this release date wouldn’t get materialise.
According to our sources, Guru is postponed and would mostly be scheduled for February 24th release now.Since February 25th is Maha Shivaratri, Guru can enjoy a 4 day weekend for that release.Simple, that’s the plan.
